Instagram continues to grow and attract users, and with more than 500 million active users that post over 95 million pictures and videos every single day, there isn’t any sign of its growth slowing down. With such a large and engaged user base, it presents great marketing opportunities, both paid and organic.

If your marketing budget is tight or your are bootstrapping your growth, spend time to build up a loyal following on Instagram and mix it in with your more standard social promotion, such as Facebook and Twitter.

If paid media is more your speed, take advantage of Instagram’s self-serve advertising option, which uses Facebook’s detailed targeting options. Video, photo and carousel are all optional ad formats.
